It’s no secret that Wisconsin is known as the birthplace of snowmobiling and offers excellent snowmobiling opportunities. Over 200,000 registered snowmobiles ride Wisconsin’s 25,000 miles of groomed trails every winter!

Our local community of Minocqua is a sought-out destination for snowmobiling enthusiasts up north. Riders will find more than 1,600 miles of trails in the area with magnificent scenery that includes over 1,300 frozen glacial lakes and 233,000 acres of public forest.

The Bearskin State Trail is one of the favorite places around Minocqua to ride, stretching 18 miles through the forests and connecting to trails that lead in all directions.

Nearby, Eagle River is widely known as the “snowmobile capital of the world.” With over 500 miles of gorgeous forested landscapes, it’s not to be missed. And don’t forget to check out the fantastic World Snowmobile Headquarters Museum while you’re there.
